To create a self inspection for your organization, you must create and send an inspection to your own organization on the platform.
- In this case your organization will be the Inspection Creator, Inspection Receiver and the Inspection Executor.
This step-by-step guide will show you how to create an Inspection from a Purchase Order:
Step 1: Hover over Inspections and click on Purchase Orders.
Step 2: Click on the checkbox beside the correct Purchase Order.
Please note: You can also select multiple Purchase Orders by clicking several checkboxes if you want more than one PO associated with the inspection.
Step 3: Click on 'Create Inspection' at the top of the table.
Step 4:Under 'book to my organization' select your organization's name.
Step 5: Click on the first dropdown and select the appropriate Inspection Type.
Step 6: Click on the dropdown and select the Inspection Booking Form.
Please note: The system will recommend you a correct Inspection Booking Form for this Inspection Type or warn you if the Inspection Booking Form you selected does not match the criteria.
Step 7: Click on 'Create Inspection'.
Step 8: Edit Product Information. To learn more about how to edit the Product Information section, click here.
Step 9: Click on the Measurement Chart tab to complete the Measurement section. You can either:
- Click on 'Generate Chart' to fill out the information based on measurement charts you have created and saved in the past.
- Click on 'Import POM from CSV' to upload the measurement chart using a CSV file.
- Click on 'Add POM' to input a POM manually.
Step 10: Click on 'Save POM' to save the POM on the platform for future inspection bookings
OR clicking on 'Delete' to delete the POM.
Step 11: Click on 'Next: Stakeholders'
Step 12: Fill out the Stakeholder information for the Retailer, Vendor, and Factory(if applicable).
Step 13: Click on 'Next: Inspection Information'.
Step 14: Provide Inspection Information, such as Country of Shipment, Inspection Type, Inspection Workflow, and include additional remarks.
Step 15: Click on 'Submit' to send your inspection to the Inspection Receiver.
How to confirm an Inspection
As you are creating a self inspection, and are sending this inspection to your own organization, you must also confirm the inspection.
Step 1: Click on the Inspection ID.
Step 2: Click on Confirm.
Step 3: Click on Confirm.
