Add instructions to your Workflows to provide more information to your inspectors while they complete an inspection. If there are specific steps your inspectors need to take to complete certain questions, checklists, or other components of an inspection, you can configure instructions on the web platform and these instructions will be automatically available to your inspectors on the field. You can add instructions to every question of a Workflow if needed, there is no limit!
Please note: Only the roles of Account Owner, Admin, or Manager can add instructions to inspection Workflows.
Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to configure instructions for your Workflows:
Step 1: Click on Configuration and then Workflows.
Step 2: Click on the Workflow Name of the Workflow you want to edit.
Step 3: Click on Edit.
Step 4: Click on 'Add Description' under the question you want to add instructions for.
(You can 'Add Description' for any question, checking list point, or other components of your Workflow. This gives you the flexibility to provide instructions for any part of your Workflow.)
Step 5: Type the instruction on the pop-up window, then click on Confirm when finished.
Step 6: Click on Change to edit the content of the instruction if necessary.
Your inspectors now see the instructions for every question on the mobile platform when completing an inspection!
