This article will show you how to add comments to an inspection. You may want to do this for several reasons, such as providing cancellation reasons, documenting changes, or requesting to add more details. You can also upload files and images in your comments, obtaining the flexibility to include more information relevant to an inspection right on the platform.
The comments you add will appear on the Activities log on the Inspection Details page, and they'll be visible to all stakeholders in an inspection.
Follow the steps below to learn how to add a comment to an Inspection:
Step 1: From your Dashboard, hover over Inspections. Then, click on Inspections to go to the Inspection Management page.
Step 2: Click on the Inspection ID to go to the Inspection Details page (you can use the filters at the top of the table or enter the Inspection ID in the search box).
Step 3: Scroll down to find the Activities section.
Step 4: Write down your comment in the comment box.
Step 5: Click on Upload Files if you want to upload a file/image with your comment. (This will prompt you to select the files and/or images from your computer).
Step 6: Click on Post to post your comment and/or file.
Please note: You can decide if you want to upload just a comment, just a file, or both.
Your comment and/or file will now appear on the Activities section, and it will include the timestamp for when it was posted.
