The integration of lab test results on Inspectorio Sight gives you even greater visibility of your quality assurance operations, enabling more efficient decisions such as requesting corrective action or waiving inspections.
Laboratory test results are automatically integrated via API from a third-party laboratory or a brand/retailer’s internal Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
The lab test result contains key information, such as who requested the laboratory test, where and when the lab test was conducted, the final result, a detailed breakdown, and attachments when available. All Stakeholders in the Purchase Order will be able to see the lab test result.
The lab test report has 3 states:
- An empty flask means there is no lab test result available.
- A full flask with a checkmark means the lab test result has PASSED.
- A full flask with an X means the lab test result is FAILED.
Follow the steps below to learn how to review lab test results!
Step 1: Hover over Inspections, then click on Purchase Orders.
Step 2: In the Purchase Orders Management page, click on "Manage Columns."
Step 3: Click on "Lab Test" to add a column to the table that displays lab test results.
Step 4: Move the "Lab Test" square to locate where you want the column to display on the table.
Step 5: Click on Save.
Step 6: You will now see the Lab Test column on the Purchase Order Management page.
Step 7: Click on the flask icon to view details for the Lab Test.
Step 8: The lab test result report will pop up. Scroll through the report to review!
Step 9: You can click on the attachments to view files attached to the report, or click Close once you are done reviewing the lab test result to return to the PO Management page.
