An Inspection can be canceled, rejected, or waived. As an Inspection Creator, you have the ability to Cancel an Inspection once it has been created. This will delete the Inspection and you will have to create a new Inspection to send to the Inspection Receiver.
Please note: You can only cancel Inspections with New status.
As an Inspection Receiver, you have the ability to Reject or Waive an Inspection once it is sent to you.
Rejecting an Inspection means that you are not satisfied with the Inspection details sent to you, and you will like the Inspection Creator to review the Inspection booking and send it again.
Waiving an Inspection means that there is no need to conduct the Inspection, and you are satisfied with the Inspection details that were sent to you.
To Reject or Waive an Inspection, simply go to the Inspection Details page and click on Reject or Waive.
If you are another Stakeholder in the Inspection and would like to make changes, you can leave a comment on the Inspection. The comment will become part of the Inspection History and will be sent to the Inspection Creator and the Inspection Receiver. The Inspection Creator and the Inspection Receiver will be able to act upon your request once they receive your comment.
