As an Inspection Creator, you have the ability to cancel an inspection after the inspection has been created. This gives you more flexibility when you created an Inspection by mistake or included incorrect information on the Inspection Booking.
Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to cancel your Inspections:
Step 1: Hover over Inspections, and then click on Inspections.
Step 2: From the Inspection Management page, click on the Sent tab to see all the inspections you have sent.
Step 3: Select the Inspection you want to cancel, and then click on Cancel (you can select multiple inspections to cancel them in bulk).
Please note: You can only cancel Inspections with a New status. To learn more about Inspection Statuses, click here!
Step 4: Provide a reason for canceling this Inspection, and then click on Submit.
Alternatively, click on the Inspection ID of the Inspection you want to cancel to go to the Inspection Details page.
Now, click on Cancel on the Assignment information table at the right of the screen.
After you cancel your Inspection, it appears on the Inspection Management table with a Canceled status, and you will have to create a new Inspection.
