A Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) is a communication tool used to identify and prevent non-conformities or defects. CAPA facilitates conversation on how non-conformities, or non-fulfilled quality standards, can be corrected and prevented in the future.
CAPA is automatically generated on the Inspectorio Sight platform for every inspection with a failed result.
To access your CAPA, go to the Inspection Details page and click on 'View CAPA':
There are three main sections in every C.A.P.A.:
1. General Information: Contains all details from the inspection such as the overall result, inspection type, and product information.
2. Non-Conformities: You will see details of any part of the inspection that did not meet the Client's/Retailer's specified requirements.
You will also see every non-conformity includes text boxes to input the root cause, corrective action, and preventive action for the non-conformity. The comment section can also be used to discuss or upload files related to each non-conformity.
3. General Chatbox: A great tool to discuss general details of the inspection or upload and review files related to the inspection.
Please note: If you want to discuss details about individual non-conformities, please use the Comments section in the Non-conformities tab.
