Once a CAPA is generated, you can attach files to the CAPA for everyone involved in the Inspection to review. If your organization has to fill out the CAPA with root causes and corrective and preventive actions, uploading files is particularly important for explaining the non-conformities found during the inspection.
Please note that a CAPA is only generated for inspections with a Fail status.
To learn how to upload a file to the CAPA, follow the steps below:
Step 1: From your Dashboard, hover over Inspections and then click on Inspections.
Step 2: Click on the Inspection ID to find the CAPA for that Inspection (you can use the filters at the top of the table or enter the Report Name in the search box).
Step 3: Click on 'View CAPA'.
Step 4: Click on Non-Conformities.
Step 5: Click on Packaging (or another section where a non-conformity was found), scroll down the page, and click on the Upload File button.
Note: If you hover over the button, it will show you the accepted file types!
Step 6: Once you have uploaded your file, fill in the comment section to activate the Add button. Then, click on 'Add' to finish!
