Enable a way to ensure defects are easily found by limiting the number of items and styles allowed in an inspection. By limiting the number of items and styles in an inspection, the sample pool for every item becomes larger, increasing the chance to find a defect.
You can configure your own rules for inspection item limits in Rule Settings, and define the maximum number of items or styles allowed in an inspection based on Inspection Type, Workflows, Product Lines, and Number of Items.
Gain more control over your inspections and increase accountability in your factories with this feature!
Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to limit the number of items and styles in your inspections:
Step 1: Click on Configuration, then click on Rule Settings.
Step 2: Scroll down until you find the Inspection Item Limit Rules in the Configuration table.
Step 3: Click on the 'Create Inspection Item Limit Rule' button to create a new item limit rule.
Step 4: Write in a name and description for your inspection rule, and then Select the conditions and limit you want. Click on 'Create' to save your rule.
Step 5: After creating the rule, make sure to enable the toggle on the right side of the rule name to activate it.
Step 6: This rule will now apply to inspection bookings sent to your organization (if the number of items in a booking exceeds the limits, the booking will not be completed and a message explaining the Inspection Item Limit Rule will appear).
