The ability for inspectors to record the shift day, shift number, production date, and production number associated with a particular defect
Looking for even more in-depth detail about the defects found during an inspection? With this new feature, you can allow your inspectors to record the following details linked to a particular defect:
- Shift date
- Shift number
- Production date
- Production number
This will enable you to conduct even deeper investigation in to the quality performance of your factories by seeing information about when and by whom a certain task was performed. Quickly and easily identify if quality issues are coming from a specific work shift or assembly line at the factories, allowing you to take targeted actions for improvement!
You can see this information about defects in your Reports, as well as the Inspection Management table (for Sight 3.0 users) for easy and quick access!
Please note: This feature is only available to Enterprise and Professional users.
Export booking data as an Excel file
Now you have the option to export your booking data as an Excel file for easier editing! You can download your booking data to share with other stakeholders outside the platform or keep for your records, now as an Excel file!
Our option to download booking data as an Excel file keeps your custom IDs intact, so you do not have to worry about missing any characters when choosing this download option!

Limit the number of items and styles that can be included in an inspection
Enable a way to ensure defects are easily found by limiting the number of items and styles allowed in an inspection! By limiting the number of items and styles in an inspection, the sample pool for every item becomes larger, increasing the chance of finding any defects present!
You can configure your own rules for inspection item limits in Rule Settings, and define the maximum number of items or styles allowed in an inspection based on Inspection Type, Workflows, Product Lines, and Number of Items.

Instantly access your automation rules when reviewing inspection details
Save time and improve your operations with greater visibility over the specific automation rules that trigger actions on your inspections!
Need to quickly find out what triggered a certain action on your inspection, for example why the status of your inspection changed? Now you can see the automation rules that apply to certain actions in the platform, directly from the inspection details page!
As an Account Owner or Administrator, you will be able to see the automation rules that trigger actions in the platform in the Activities Tab. You can save time when answering questions from factories and suppliers about automated rules and actions in the platform, and you can quickly access data from automated rules to address root causes!

Create inspections from the mobile platform
With this upcoming feature, users in our mobile platform will be able to create and start inspections from their mobile devices - there is no need to take any actions on the web to create and start inspections! Complete inspections faster with our streamlined inspection process available on the mobile platform!
GPS for local organizations
You will soon be able to map the location of your local factories with GPS coordinates! When releasing an assignment, you will see the local factory's GPS location on the monitoring page. This feature will ensure the integrity of your local factories' addresses and allow you to gain complete visibility over the exact location of the organizations you work with. With this new feature, you will increase the accuracy of your monitoring efforts!
