Analyzing the results of your inspection activities, and the performance of the stakeholders involved in those activities (such as Vendors, or Factories) is key to developing an effective quality assurance program. Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) reports are an essential part of that quality assurance process.
Our new CAPA Analytics page will provide you will key insights and metrics related to this process, enabling you to understand how those activities are executed, root out inefficient processes, and identify critical areas in need of more focused improvement.
On this new analytics page you will find:
Key metrics in relation to your CAPA reports, including no. of CAPAs, average response time, average close time, and more!
A comprehensive set of filters, enabling you to dive deep into your particular areas of interest, including specific factories, suppliers, inspections types, product lines, and more!
A detailed table with a breakdown of all of your CAPA related data - exportable to a CSV file for further analysis.
Please note: This page is only available to organizations with an Enterprise subscription.
How to review your CAPA Analytics
Step 1: Hover over Analytics, then hover over Process and click on CAPAs.
Step 2: Apply the filters at the top of the screen to narrow down the data as needed (filter by attributes such as by retailer, by supplier, by style, by workflow, by CAPA status, by CAPA iterations and more!)
Step 3: The first section you will see is a banner containing key metrics about your CAPA reports, including:
Number of CAPAs: The number of CAPA reports available based on your chosen filters.
Average time to first response: On average, how long does it take for a Vendor/ Factory to respond to the CAPA request.
Average Time to Close: On average, how long does it take for a Vendor/Factory to close their CAPA. (A 'Closed' CAPA is a CAPA that no further actions can be taken on, and has one of the following statuses: Approved, Rejected, Re-inspection Requested (Solved)).
Closed CAPA with comments/ without comments: The number of closed CAPA reports that include comments, and the number of closed CAPA reports that do not include comments. (This metric can give an indication as to how carefully the CAPA resolution was considered).
Step 4: Scroll down to review the next sections. The 'By Status' chart provides you with a breakdown of the statuses of your CAPA reports.
Step 5: The CAPA iterations chart provides a breakdown of the number of closed CAPA reports grouped by the number of 'iterations' the CAPA went through before it was resolved. (The number of iterations is the number of times the CAPA was submitted and re-submitted before it was 'closed').
Step 6: Scroll down to view the 'Detail Breakdown' section.
- Use the drop-down menu to select criteria to view the information by (For example, you can view by Factories, Suppliers, Oversight Office, Inspection Executors, and more).
- Choose to show the data by Factory/Supplier etc. to see aggregated metrics for each Factory, Supplier, etc.
