Want to receive personalized Inspectorio notifications based on your preferences?
This feature enables you to choose the specific notifications you want to receive! These notifications are based on platform events; for example, when a booking is created, or when an assignment is released. You can also filter your notifications by factory, supplier, product line and more!
How to change your Notification Preferences
Notification Preferences can be configured for each individual user in your organization. This configuration is based on Notification Events and Notifications Filters.
Please Note: Notification Filters are only available to organizations with a Professional or Enterprise subscription.
Follow the steps below to configure your notification preferences!
Step 1: Next, hover over Administration and click on Users.
Step 2: Use the search box to find your name and click on it to view your profile.
Step 3: Click on the Notification Preferences tab.
From the Notification Preferences page you can edit Notification Events, or Notification Filters. Let’s begin with Notification Events!
Step 4: Click on the Notification Events tab.
Step 5: Click on the toggles to turn on or off notifications for specific platform events.
Important Note: Inspectorio will also send you default system emails. This list of 13 notifications which are NOT configurable. (You will always receive these notifications).
Click on ‘See the List’ to see the full list of default system notifications.

Step 6: Click on Save Changes to save your notification preferences.
Next, let’s edit the Notification Filters! These filters will apply to all of your notifications (Professional and Enterprise only)
Our notification filters enable you to receive specific notifications, based on criteria that you choose and configure. (E.g. You can filter by Supplier, Factory, Inspection Executor, Inspection type and more!).
You can also configure multiple combinations of filters and be even more specific about the notifications you want to receive.
Factory A and Factory B both produce Apparel and Footwear product lines. However, you only want to receive notifications for:
- Apparel product lines from Factory A, and;
- Footwear product lines from Factory B.
Using our new and improved notifications filters, configuring this level of specificity is easy!
Step 7: Click on the Notification Filters tab.
Step 8: Click on 'Create New Filter'
Step 9: Name your filters, use the drop down menus provided to select your filter criteria, then click on Save.
Step 10: Use the toggles provided to enable or disable your created filters.
Step 11: To edit or delete your filters, click on the three dot menu.
How to edit Risk Label notifications
Effectively monitor and mitigate factory risk using our new 'Risk Label Change' notifications!
This feature provides users the ability to monitor and receive real-time email notifications when there is any change to the 'Risk Label' or 'Risk Setting' of the factories they work with.
- This feature is available for Enterprise, Professional & Standard subscription holders only.
- This feature can be enabled or disabled by special request. If this feature is not available for your organization, please reach out to your account admin to request access.
Step 1: In the notification events section, in the Risk Configuration tab, select the Risk events you would like to be notified about.
Step 2: In the Notification filters section, in the Risk configuration tab, create filters as normal to narrow down the Factory Risk notifications you want to receive.
